Tastes & Travel {Olive Fusion: A Tasting Room}

There is nothing quite as cozy as a weekend getaway in the mountains. Brian and I love our winter trips to Breckenridge to go skiing and hang out with our friends. And while the majority of the time is spent on the slopes or lounging around the house, this past weekend I tried something new. Thanks to the suggestion of my friend Kristen, my mom, sister-in-law, and I found ourselves exploring Olive Fusion.

This charming little shop, right off of Main Street in downtown Breck, is filled with a variety of Balsamic Vinegars and Olive Oils. Olive Fusion boasts flavor combinations that both delight and mystify its customers, with such blends as Blood Orange Olive Oil and Thai Lemongrass-Mint Balsamic Vinegar. Meredith and I both opted for a bottle of Organic Butter Olive Oil, to be used on everything from popcorn to seafood, while my mom choose Organic Basil Olive Oil, which perfectly completes a caprice salad. Be sure to stop by next time you are in Breckenridge!
